Reflective Blog 4, The main topic of discussion in our class since our last Blog entry has been the professional industry and the associations that are present within these professional jobs. Our class has mainly focused on the surveying profession and has discussed the factors of what it means to be a professional in the surveying field. When it comes to being considered a professional there are many personal and business responsibility’s that must be met in order to maintain a professional status. In the surveying profession it is critical that the land surveyor abide by the rules laid out by the professional organization. This guarantees the client has the highest standard quality of work. The clients put their trust in the professional to complete the work to a certain standard, with a fair price tag, and represent them with the proper knowledge in legal systems.
